This advanced experiential and didactic training is designed for EFT-C therapists, supervisors and trainers. You will learn advanced skills to work with challenging issues such as escalated couples as well as in-session blocks, interruptions, and impasses in therapy. Â You will learn how to work with complex issues such as trauma, power and dominance. Â In addition, you will learn more in-depth about a Forgiveness Treatment Approach developed by Greenberg, Warwar, and Malcolm to help couples resolve emotional injuries and issues of betrayal. In this workshop you will also learn how to incorporate experiential teaching and homework and how to promote positive interactions. Â You will also learn how to address issues of physical intimacy in the relationship.
You will receive in-depth skill training through a combination of brief lectures, video demonstrations, live modeling, case discussions, and extensive supervised role-playing practice. This workshop runs twice a week for 2 weeks.
Prerequisite: Equivalent of EFT-C Level 1
